A horse! I have the strange feelings that the legs are too short and skinny, but I'm not sure if that's actually true... It might just be something to do with my posing and very basic shading... definatly have to work on improving my horse-sense.

You should go with that feeling; maybe make the legs from hip to knee the same length as his torso is thick?

Very good structuring and configuration of the shapes for your horse though; once you get a feel for the sizes needed everything will draw itself!

Thanks! Yeah, I have to focus more on getting the broad forms right first - I have a tendancy to want to jump rignt into the fun details, but spending more time on the foundation would do be good.

Looking at it again, and after a couple comments by other people - needs more chest, and either shorten the body or lengthen the legs, raise the head.

Heh, either that, or sidestep the whole issue by squishing things into an extreme foreshortned view - just finished drawing a young deer, leaping powerfully off the page, that'll be going up tommorrow.
