More playing around with light, depth, scale, foreground->midground->background, non-blue skies, and different sorts of water. Sort of a cold, wintry feel to thtis one, despite the green bits of field. I really should start signing these.

I like this one. The mountains are well suited with your large strong brush strokes. You do it's form very well, I think a lot of people have difficultly with rock.

Really? That's interesting - for me, I know I really have to work on my middle distance. The lake here needs to better reflect the green sky, and those blue shadows on the middle show field n eed to be toned won, plus I must better highlight the trees.

Heh, though I'm just as likely to move onto something new - I can recognize my mistakes, but I'm fearful of falling into the trap of endlessly fixing them rather than moving on.
